Location and Wine-cellar

Enoteca Lucantoni is a family-run business providing a valid and selective range of the very best wines from Italy and abroad.

The wine-house is divided into two distinct areas: the store area accessed from outside, and the cellar, a veritable temple in which over 2000 labels from all over the world are stored, and where customers can appreciate a variety of products in complete tranquillity and under the guidance and recommendations of an expert sommelier.

The cellar's temperature is controlled and kept at a constant 20°C by an air conditioning system. The most prestigious products are conserved in special cooling chambers, in which optimal environmental conditions are maintained (constant temperature and humidity) for the wine's conservation and ageing.

The wine-cellar keeps all the most renowned labels from Italian wine-makers, as well as selected refined wines from "lesser known" wineries, specially chosen by the wine shop's experts for its customers. Customers can appreciate wines from around the globe, from the French regions of Alsace, Bordeaux, the Loire, Bourgogne and Champagne, to Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Chile, Argentina, California, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

The magnum collection of wines and Champagnes at the Enoteca F.lli Lucantoni wine-cellars holds special importance.

Over 800 varieties of liqueurs and eau-de-vie are kept on hand, including around 200 of the best Italian grappas.

History

Enoteca F.lli Lucantoni was established in Rome in 1961, where, guided by their passion and appreciation for the world of wine-making, brothers Silvio, Marino and Francesco Lucantoni opened one of the best stocked sales and meeting points for lovers of good wine and good food in general.

Over the years, Silvio and Marino, having toured the most prestigious wine-growing areas the world over, have created an extremely vast range of products, paying special attention to the best Italian wineries, without disregarding the diversity and quality of international wine-making.

Today, Marino Lucantoni, president of the Rome's Arte dei Vinattieri association, emphasizes professional service and high quality products, prerogatives customers at Enoteca F.lli Lucantoni have always been accustomed to.
